When it closed down, everyone went down different paths. Some played other MMOs, some went back to Acclame, some quit MMOs period. We just dont have that much in common anymore, unless someone can manage to find a game most of us will play and comment on or something. Other than that, might as well engage in random chit chat Bout Starcraft, its in my opinion, a much needed game when it comes to PC. These days, the PC gaming industry is practically dead, since MMOs are the "rage" these days. My Kingdom for a decent RPG for PC that wasnt made in the 90s T_T Failing that, Ill have to make do with Starcraft (Assuming they actually sell it in my country, of course. Cross your fingers, folks) EDIT: Actually, I just did some reading about SC2. Im personally going to wait a while before getting the game, since its going to be released in 3 parts. Id rather wait for all 3 parts to be sold as a package (which is what will probably happen) rather than buying each part as they come out, but thats just me. About SC2, IMHO Blizzard is getting more and more bold these days. I loved SC1 but I will not buy this game. I am not even sure if i will buy Diablo 3. Blizzard is more and more limiting the features, i.e. LAN. Treats buyers like Thiefs or little Kids. The recent real name Disaster is a typical example. Instead of game designers, the marketing nerds took over the company. Pretty much retired from MMO gaming due to vast amounts of work. | ||

Game Name: Dark Nova Platform: Iphone, Ipad, etc. (I think it may be available on other smart phones too) Website: http://darknova.net/ Reviews: You take on the role of a space captain, roaming the galaxy in your "spaceship", trading goods, fighting pirates, evading the space police, smuggling contraband, escorting passengers to destinations for a fee, exploring new planets, doing various quests (optional), hiring different mercs for their skills, upgrade your owns skills, upgrading your ship with new equipment such as *weapons, shields, gadgets*, and even buying different spaceships to suit your needs of being a space trader, bounty hunter, or space pirate, etc. You can either be a Hero or a Villian, inspiring other hero wannabes, or fear in all who cross your path. It's addictively fun, and has a classic game feel to it. The playability factor is unimaginable, with different difficulty settings and how you choose to customize your character stats with chances of upgrading them as you go along. Meeting other space traders and there might a chance you get to sell or buy your goods at a discount, or get conned into paying too much from unscrupulous traders. Im not pleased with the way Blizzard handled the information they released to my country about this game, since they left out some vital information until after the release I find that their justification for some of their actions are, to be blunt, poor excuses. I was strongly reminded of Acclaim while reading it, and that left a bad taste in my mouth If they think their actions are going to put a stop to piracy, theyre smoking some pretty good stuff. If anything, they are actually encouraging it I thought Starcraft 2 was to be a strategy game. Instead, its an obvious attempt to make a WoW for RTS. What makes me sad is that Blizzard will get away with this, and now all the competition will start to imitate them. Just like MMOs killed the RPG genere, with their monthly fees and subscriptions and Item Malls, Starcraft is going to kill the RTS genere Props to Irrelevant for my avatar | ||

Crippling the multiplayer to be battle.net only? having only humans as single player campaign? becoming a the faster clicks wins game? I didnt bought SC2 because I knew all this. Blizzard is really getting bad since the marketing guys outvote the devs. SC2 has become the most overrated game since Duke Dukem Forever. I already doubt to buy Diablo 3 (when it ever gets released) because of Blizzards attitude. But still they could act worse, like Ubisoft does. PS: scoob this looks far too much iPhone to me, does this game exist for Android as well?  Pretty much retired from MMO gaming due to vast amounts of work. | ||

My region, though, was quite a mess First, theres the battlenet account. I have no idea if the account will only give me the so-called unlimited access to WoL or if its good for the expansions as well. Its bad enough having to buy the game in 3 parts. Having to pay 3 times for "unlimited" access with each release? Not worth it by a long shot Secondly, here they sold the collectors edition and the normal edition. Problem is, the collectors edition only connects to the US server, and the normal edition only connects to the latino server. This was a major blunder, since now latinos are completly giving up on their dead server and just buying the game again, but now to just connect to the US server and spare themselves any more BS Thirdly, I could never find out how necessary was the internet for the game. Had to go around forums and friends who bought the game and each would tell me something different: If you dont have internet you can play campaign, but not Multi or Single player, or that I could play Single player, but not Multi Player or Campaign, that I needed the internet to play SC2 at all, etc. Got fed up with the hearsay game and just decided I wouldnt buy it since I had no idea what the hell Im actually buying Props to Irrelevant for my avatar | ||

Yes, I am currently playing it on my iPhone.
