OK, this is just from playing around but:

Text fields:
  • The first Japanese text field with the 2 is the number of slots.
  • The second Japanese text field is he number of levels your item will drop.
    Note: when you drop the level of an item, it also drops the stat requirement but does not reduce the damage.



Items
  • The first item is the weapon to slot.
  • The second item, which looks like a sword handle with a cloth is the item which determines the number of slots. Blue is 2 slots. Red is 1 slot. The 3 slot item can be obtained from the resource collection.
  • The third item is the slotting tool. It determines how many levels you can drop your item, 4 levels sells from the general store, 8 levels (Medium Blood-Nail) is a drop, and the 12 level item is under resource collection.


I successfully dropped 3 RL6 staffs to RC10 and added 2 slots to both, the damage was not reduced, but the stat and level requirements were.

well ive got rc6 spear.... i slot them.... it turn to gc level slot and have 2 slot

That field with the "8" this must be the number of levels it drops?

 weird...then we must get slot higher lvl weps for our use, beacuase they drop, simple as that, this should be stickied

 There is a resource collection for 3 slot; one one slot one two slot and a be, needs to be done with both components

 remember the japan 9d has different stats for lents its for 9d acclaim

we must search a guide for 9d japan because i think its different stats

like hybrid have dex penalty

 ah ok, so Hybrid has Dex penalty, so how are they any godo at all now? cos they need Dex for gloves, daggers, or axe, if they want to melee, but if they want CK hybrid, they must add lots of dex for CK AR...how are they so good then in PVE, and I assume in PVP as well

 Hmmm, I played a hybrid and his penalty stat was Wisdom.

We are talking about 9D japan right ? Like the section name says ? I know someone on acclaim's forum said that, but afaik after checking in-game, the penalty stat is wis.

So there ya go!

Great forum btw, lots of good info on jap 9d (although some of it might have to be rechecked ^^)

 omg, now another person says Wis is penalty stat >.>, half ppl say dex, half say wis, can anyone take a SS then pls?

 Well...I believe It's Wis if people have been hybrid's.
I heard that it will change to Dex though.

EDIT: I tested the crafting system.
The 2nd thing IS how much level the weapon drops by.
The top is how much slots you get.
And the damage for the weapon does not decrease.
Also the "slotting tool" determines how much levels your weapon drops I think.

 so hybrids own in PVP now right? cos they can up their dex freely to use CK AR and spam paranuke and thanks for info on how to slot

 Just because paranuke connects with someone, it doesn't mean that the paralysis will take effect.
There is a 70% chance of that happening on successful hit. :]

 no, it's 70% of bleeding on successful hit, but even thoguh bleed doesn't occur, it'll still hurt a lot

No it's 70% for both.
I know because it says "respectively" which means both things. :]

 Hybrids cant rule PvP anymore because of 2 sec para OMGzorg!!!!11!! >.<

And para does have a 70% chance at both bleed and paralyze, sometimes you get nothing sometimes bleed or paralyze only, sometimes both.

And there doesnt seem to be much PvP going on at the moment, the only thing BP really seems good for is getting to Shi Zhang XD

 Is it possible to somehow lower the item's level numerous times?

For example, first add 1 slot, then do the 2 slot thing and then 3 slots or...I don't know, any other way to do it.

It would be pretty awesome for my alt to get his hands on a lowered-level staff!

I could only do it 1 time per weapon, and it wouldn't allow me to do it on quest weapons (like RL1 unnamed warrior's XXX)

 when u try to add slot .. the weapon must be +0 and white(normal weapon) ... the - level is depend on the tools u have (which called nail something) ... the 1 u buy from NPC -4 levels ... from drop - 8 level ... and the 1 u can trade from NPC - 12 levels i believe ... also ... if u want to add 3 slot ... u must trade NPC for the material ... red ring (1 slot) + blue ring(2 slot) +1be for the white ring(3 slot) ... there's also a fee to add slot ... and amount of money will be increase depends how many extra slot u have ... 3 slot have expiration date i think ... have fun and enjoy the game

The one you make from 1 BE + Drop and NPC one = Best.

But 3 slot items are available from collecting regular drops? Acclaim wont accept such a game flaw, 3 slot will have to be Mall Items of course.
Pretty much retired from MMO gaming due to vast amounts of work.

1slot item+ 2slot item + be = exchange for 3slot crafting item lasting 30days i think.

off-hand, i cant remember if that for 3slots or lvl req reduction by 12

acclaim? lol...

my impression is that they would probably capitalize the game in every conceivable way they can think of...

or am i wrong?

The 12lvl red. item has no timer.
